In 2016 and 2017, I developed and taught a “Learn to Code for Absolute Beginners” class over two semesters at Wharton. It was an eight-week course that went through basic software engineering fundamentals in Python and an introduction to web development. 500+ students signed up for the course in its first semester and ultimately 150+ ended up taking the course (oversubscribed).
